For a 163-pounder six months ago, trying to do burpees is synonymous to weight lifting. Itâ€™s an impossible type of exercise I know I wouldnâ€™t be able to execute well. But last month, I completely surprised myself for doing burpees for the first time. Iâ€™m happy and really proud of myself.
I took some time out (of a busy sked reading about Print Management Software) to do yoga meltdown. One of the movements is similar to burpees which I was hesitant to do at first for fear of hurting myself. But lo and behold, I was able to lift by body and jump back in a plank pose. From then on I can do burpees with ease (itâ€™s a different story though when you ask me to do 20 reps or more :D).
