Doctor’s Advice

We visited the kids’ pedia last Saturday for a follow up checkup and to consult about my daughter’s skin infection. The doctor said fungal infection, pneumonia and other infectious diseases usually develop when a person’s immune system is impaired by a disease (in my children’s case it was dengue). I was relieved my daughter is only dealing with minor skin infection and not any serious illness.

Anyway, my kids’ checkup turns out okay. They were given additional vitamins to recover well and ointment for my daughter’s skin infection. The doctor also noticed my daughter’s posture. She advised her to always stand straight so as not to cause pain in her neck and lower back. I wish I have read about ergonomic kneeling chair earlier so I could ask the doctor if it’s advisable for my daughter to use it especially when she’s sitting at her study table.
